Hi I’m Zena, and one of my favourite albums is Cold Chisel’s East.
The reason I love this album so much is because the songs are catchy and the band is like no other. They have a sound of their own that’s a nice blend of pop and rock.
When I had a young family with little time to myself, I would often listen to the radio. This is where I heard Cold Chisel’s song Choir Girl for the first time. I fell in love with the song and the sound after the first couple of bars. When East was released in June 1980, I bought it, and my love of Cold Chisel was cemented after hearing all the other songs on the album and now I have nine Chisel albums in my musical collection. I hope you enjoy the album East as much as I do.
