He was only 11.

However, his gift for poetry was soon-after realised and continues to prosper as he draws inspiration from the beautiful Shoalhaven, which features in the photography of his latest release – Clouds in my Coffee, which is a compilation of poetry comprising of dreamy coffee-scented cloudscapes. Many shots in the booklet were taken by the author himself.

Robert’s poetry was first published in Australia’s Best Poetry (2001), then The Rose and the Thorn (2023), which was officially launched at Nowra Library in November 2023.

His current booklet, Clouds in my Coffee, was released in December 2024 and has since been recorded and is soon-to-be-featured on Bay & Basin FM. Robert’s work has also been showcased in other illustrious venues, including Sydney’s Town Hall.
