The Melodic Minds series features five podcasts developed by local Vincentia High School students as part of the Curious and Creative program in partnership with BCR Communities, Firefly Bay & Basin and Community Radio 92.7FM. Each episode covers an era of musical genres spanning the 1970’s to the 2010’s. In this episode, we go back to the 1980s – the time of MTV, music videos, electronic music and when the pub rock scene in Australia was exploding. With so much great music to choose from, which songs will the Curious & Creative team pick? Expect to hear The Smiths, Journey, Mondo Rock and a few surprises!
